About this item
- ORIGIN AND SOURCING - We believe the highest quality essential oils and skincare oils come from plants that are grown where they thrive. We source from over 40 countries to secure the best oils possible. Our source visits allow us to obtain firsthand knowledge of growing practices, harvest cycles, environment, and worker conditions to ensure Aura Cacia’s vision, values and expectations are being met.
- ABOUT US - Aura Cacia was founded over 40 years ago on pure essential oils and true aromatherapy benefits. We partner with suppliers to source high quality botanicals and rigorously test every batch to ensure purity. We then provide premium products with consumer safety at the forefront. And importantly, Aura Cacia is part of a member owned co-op that puts people and planet ahead of profits.
- BRISK AROMA - Known for its strong clearing abilities, eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) is one of the most popular essential oils as it’s inexpensive, easy to use and very effective. Eucalyptus leaves have a naturally sweet aroma, but through proper distillation, the essential oil becomes brisk and camphoraceous.
- Assessment of purity and suggested applications - Gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC/MS) analysis is the main method for verifying the authenticity of an essential oil as a genuine botanical. Each batch of Aura Cacia essential oils undergoes GC/MS analysis. This item is suitable for vegans and is not tested on animals.
- EUCALYPTUS ESSENTIAL OIL - We carry 2 varieties of eucalyptus: Eucalyptus globulus from China & organic Eucalyptus radiata from South Africa. Our Eucalyptus globulus typically comes from a village in the Yunnan mountain area of southern China where it was planted to reforest the area 100 years ago. Distillers use the small pieces of wood the eucalyptus leaves are attached to supply the heat necessary to create steam for distillation. Using every part of the plant is our favorite way to source.
